The Smeg SE2773TC2 ceramic hob incorporates the latest cooking technology to guarantee excellent standards and an easy cooking experience for you. The digital touch controls along the front edge of the hob maximise the space available for your pans, and as the controls are centrally located, there will be no need for left handed chefs to lean across boiling pans to alter temperatures.
The hob itself has 5 zones in 4 different sizes, which allows you to match your cooking zone with your pan size. One of these zones is a dual cooking area, which adds versatility as you can cook with very powerful heat if you need to.
Nifty features included with this particular hob include a quick start option, which brings the zone to your chosen temperature faster. The heating element works at maximum power until the right temperature is reached, and then the power is automatically decreased to maintain the temperature that you require. This allows you to save time when cooking, and ensures that the heat provided to your food is not too powerful.
This hob also has an ultra low setting which keeps the temperature at about 60 degrees constantly. This makes it ideal for melting chocolate and butter, so if you’re a keen chef, it should be very useful indeed!
