The Stoves SGH600C gas hob comes in stainless steel, which is always impressive to look at. It has 1 large burner, 2 medium and 1 small, so anything from a small pan of lentil soup to an impressive pot of stew can be heated effectively. The matt cast iron pan supports are solid and sturdy, giving the appliance a real tangible quality.

The controls are found at the front, which makes it a lot easier for you to control when using. Plus, each hob is auto-ignition, so you only need to use one hand to start. And if you accidentally extinguish the flames, the SGH600C has a flame safety device that will cut off the gas supply immediately, giving you peace of mind that you don’t have a major leak on your hands.
