"We had a Neff dishwasher in our old house but left it when we moved 5 years ago.We had a new kitchen installed here with less expensive appliances to keep the cost down.BIG mistake.We have had to have the Fridge?Freezer replaced,now the diswasher.This is bar far the best i have had.The cutlery tray/basket pull out is a master stroke and we diddnt realise there is a blue led light inside so you can see,and the same shines on floor so you know its on 10 out of 10.

I went cheap to save money but it has cost me in the long run.We are now looking at replacing our S/Steel Cooker hood as the light has fallen out and its so so loud.Think it will be a Siemans or Bosch."

"Disappointed"

Pros: Easy to use, Quiet, looks good

Cons: Expensive, very poor drying

"We moved house and fitted a new kitchen. We thought we'd spend the extra money and only get Bosch or Siemens appliances as we wanted them all to last! As far as this dishwasher goes, I can't help but think it was a waste of money.

Door - not convinced this is going to last as it seems pretty flimsy. I thought it would improve when the integrated door was fitted, but its not much better.

Drying - this is my main issue, it's rubbish!! Many cups hold a pool of water in the top, the same cups didn't have that problem in out old cheap diplomat dishwasher, I can only assume they are now stacked in a more upright position therefore not allowing them to drain. Whatever causes it though, it's very annoying and not an issue we used to have. ALL plastic stuff will always be wet and with a small child, it means I'm having to dry all of their plates and cups after every wash. For the money this dishwasher costs, it's not what I expect!!

Cutlery rack - good in theory but after cooking a big family meal and filling more than our normal 3 person loads, I found that many items were not clean and had to be put back in for another wash, or worse still, hand washed.

The beep to indicate the end of the cycle, good in theory but it beeps 5 times every 10 minutes or so until you open the door.....that becomes very annoying.

The good points are, very easy to use, versatile in its stacking options and very very quiet! However, I do think these good points could be achieved in a much cheaper dishwasher. The drying issues out weigh the positives for me I'm afraid.

Bring back my cheaper than cheap diplomat dishwasher.

I don't normally bother writing reviews, but I think it's only fair that at £600 plus, people should be aware you can do better!!"

"Great washer"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, versatile

"Very pleased.

Only had this a week, but great results so far. Was very keen to have cutlery tray and this works a treat.

Blue light inside is an added bonus.

One word of caution, if you are installing it yourself, the fitting instructions for the door are not the easiest to follow and if I did it again, I would measure the hole positions rather than relying on the template."

"Another good product"

"Having recently bought this dishwasher to add to the fridge, washing machine, freezer and tumble drier all made by Siemens. I could of guessed what I was buying. Yes it is a little more expensive than the rest of the market. But as the saying goes, ' you get what you pay for'. The build quality has to be described as solid. The space inside more than ample with many different configurations that will cope with any dish. Controls are nice and clear but take a few weeks to master. But saying this, they give you a vast array of different washing options. As for the noise, well the old one you could hear quite clearly, this you can just make out a tiny noise and you think wheres that coming from. So yes its definately quiet. Some reviews have said that the door mounting was not easy, i did make a mistake but soon realised my error and it fitted very tidily.

The only point i do find a little annoying are the blue lights. They are a little dazzling for me but then that could just be that I am a bit old fashioned.

Otherwise another great product which I hope will last as long as all the other Siemens appliancees that we have and be as maintenance and fault free."

"brilliant dishwasher"

"This dishwasher was a little more expensive than we were first looking at spending, however after only three weeks it was worth every penny!

We previously had a Zanussi which came with the kitchen when we brought the house and in short it was rubbish, we have not had to re wash anything in this new one and I can use the basic tablets on an eco wash and still get stunning results. Even my tea cups look like they have been soaked in sterilliser after every wash.

The cutlrey draw is a god send although does restrict the height of items in the top shelf, this is just something to get used to. The only draw back so far is if we have a full complement of plates etc there is little room for the tall glasses in the same wash."
