"Good, but...."
Pros: Easy to use, Quiet, looks good
Cons: Expensive, poor fixing points, weak fixing brackets

I decided on Neff because of "the name" and expected it to be of higher build quality.
The main stainless steel bed of the unit is relatively thin and flexes readily when compared to our old Zanussi hob . There are only 4 fixing points, so the flange does not quite seat completely at mid edge. The supplied fixing brackets are very weak, so the engineer & I used the the old Zanussi ones.
The unit I received had a large bad scratch around the smallest burner, but because we had booked an engineer and were desperate to have it installed (our 17 year old Zanussi had been disconnected & condemned because of a tiny leak), we have decided to put up with it, so I've attempted to polish it out with wire wool but limited success.
The burners work efficiently, so no complaints there. The Wok burner is useful and works very well, but if I had the choice, I'd go for a slightly higher output version
The controls are raised with a shaped rubber collar around the shaft which makes it easy to keep thest bits clean - these collars are vital because there is no raised steel lip to stop spills getting inside the body.
The ignition system works very well so far. The burners are easy to take off, clean & re-fit. The flame dispersal caps are easy to knock off when doing a quick wipe clean, but I don't see this as a problem.
The cast iron supports are solid and flat, but because there aren't enough "hob to work surface" fixing points to allow the hob to be pulled down completely flat, there is a small amount of wobble."
