Hotpoint V3D01P

With a 3kg drying load this machine can tackle 12 t-shirts in one go – or enough t-shirts for at least a fortnight.

Please note, this tumble dryer is D rated for energy which is relatively inefficient, and it operates at 69dB.

It has a mechanical control panel with a timer and high and low drying settings. Plus it has a final cool tumble which reduces creases by cooling fabrics down at the end of the cycle.

Reverse action technology means clothes are tumbled in both directions which prevents tangling and further creasing.

Please note this appliance is vented so the waste air must be pumped out through a vent or window.

"Not one i would recommend"

"I found the Hotpoint Aquarius not particularly good, smaller than i expected but that was my fault for not thourougly checking the details. It does not dry bath towel sheets or duvets very easily on the programme for these items, especially as i only put 1 thing in at a time to dry which on a rainy day takes ages!!! I try to part dry my washing now and just put a few things in the machine to finish off. I also find that some things get overly creased even on the lower heat setting.

I had a Hhotpoint tumble dryer back in the early 1980's and it was fantastic, same size and was really good at getting everything dry, although not very cheap to run as is this machine.

I for one would not purchase this model again, but hope the one i ha vewill last ,as i tend not to buy tumble dryers too often.!!"

"I found this dryer to be pretty good value for money. I didn't even realise dryers came this small! it's ideal if you are limited for space and are single. Not ideal for a family as it can't hold much. For bulkier items it has to be on for well over an hour or it won't dry the item/s very well."

"EFFICIENT DRYING"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, does not need the vent hose

"The Hotpoint Aquarious V3D01P is a really efficient dryer that is easy to use. Supplied with a vent hose, it works perfectly without one (indeed, I much prefer to use it this way). There are a couple of oddities about it, in that it doesn't have an "on/off" switch, as such. Should you need/want to use the vent hose - this has to be connected to the centre front aperture in the door (looking distinctly "elephantine" and definitely odd!). It is designed to work without the vent, and does so very well.

Having said that, it is simple to use, and very efficient. It has clean and simple styling, and the filter is easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone."

"Great little dryer"

Pros: Easy to use, Value for money

"I love this 3kg dryer. I used to have a washer dryer which took ages to dry, but this one does it in no time, I'm really pleased with it. It is ideal when you haven't got the space for a full size one as it can just sit on the worktop and you can put the vent out the window. Perfect!!"
