Zanussi ZGL62ITX

Designed to offer a simple, reliable service, the Zanussi ZGL62ITX looks very impressive in stainless steel. It would complement most kitchens quite nicely and contrasts very well with the black pan supports. The controls are located at the side of the hob, and are thick and bulky, so you won’t feel like they will come off at the slightest turn.

There’s an automatic integrated ignition, so just turn with one hand and bob’s your uncle. Gas offers you a good measure of control over electric or solid plate heating. You get a large burner, 2 medium and 1 simmer burner so you’ve got something for everything from heating soup to making a delicious stir-fry.

And remember, the one-piece hob and enamel pan supports means that cleaning is as easy as your cooking will be!

"Can't fault.."

Pros: Easy to use, Good build quality, Value for money

"As far as hob's go, this is a winner! After researchign several items, I bought this one due to 1) it has the flame cut out device and 2) it was the most reasonably priced. It looks good, it's easily cleaned and when cleaned with a stainless steal cleaner, it shines for days - very pleased and would most certainly recommend."

"Apart from the knob rotation being counter intuitive ie they turn anti clockwise, the unit is excellent. It would help if all manufacturers would agree on a common gas fitting point in the back right hand corner. As the new unit was 3 inches from the old one it cost an additional £50 to connect."
