"This is a one-stop shop of a cooking device. It does everything imaginable, and then some. I mean, we know about the microwave/grill/oven combo functions and crisping capability, but have you ever come across steaming in a microwave for example? Wow!

The justification for the price tag though relates to the "6th sense" programmes, which take a few pieces of information and calculate the right combination of cooking methods, time and power to deliver a perfect result. Incredibly enough, 6th sense turned a frozen pizza into a crisp, hot cooked pizza with minimum fuss in around 8 minutes.

True, you will sometimes have to play around with the features to get the right results, but the flexibility of the device gives you the capability of doing pretty much anything."

"The microwave oven/grill/steamer/convection oven seems fine. It is quick. However the instructions and recipes are hopeless. There is new technology in this appliance with very little help as to how to use it, and it is not intuitive. For example the most basic of microwave dishes - a baked potato - can be cooked using 3 different methods but there is no help as to which to use or how long each method takes. More complex dishes will present even greater problems unless there is a recipe in one of their two recipe books (one of which was not supplied with the machine and had to be requested - and is only available online). I have reservations for this reason."

"Poor Instuctions"

"We were delighted when the product arrived with how it looked and all the available functions available. We were very disappointed to find that the instructions for use were almost non existent and there were virtually no recipes.We have owned earlier microwave from Whirlpool and do not understand why the literature provided with this model is so poor compared to previous models.It really has taken the gloss off what could have been an excellent purchase.We would recommend that Whirlpool send out clear and revised literature to all customers who have purchased this product."

"Had this microwave for 2 weeks now and love everything about it. Although some reviews I read before buying it said the instructions were a bit difficult and it lacked recipes, both my husband and I have had not had any difficulty using it. It has been one of the best purchases ever. I have used this oven as a conventional fan forced oven - perfect results for everything! The crisp function - baked a homemade pizza (large, thick crust) in 12 mins - perfect again. Used the combination of forced air, crisp and microwave - great results. Heated a frozen pasty - hot right through, crisp, no soggy microwave pastry insight, using the 6th sense reheat function. Perfect roasts spuds too. I could go on and on. Absolutely fabulous."
