Washing machines, tumble dryers, fridge-freezers and ovens continue to be a focus for online shoppers, according to a new survey.
Research conducted by PriceGrabber.com has revealed that despite fears relating to the recession, people are still trusting web-based retailers to provide them with the kitchen appliances they need at a price within their budget.
The company's latest Consumer Behaviour Report looked at sales of home furniture, kitchen electricals and home entertainment, concluding that trends indicate the internet is still the right choice for many.
It explained: "80 per cent of [respondents] indicated they will likely research their next kitchen appliance online and 30 per cent said they will likely make their purchase [this way]".
The research noted laundry appliances were a particular area where internet shopping was important to people - which could prompt some users to consider models like the Bosch WAE24468GB washing machine.
A-rated for energy efficiency, this model features a 1,200rpm spin speed and a two-year warranty.
